While on residency in Cali, Colombia, Ben Judd fabricated the contradictory movement I Will Heal You, which took its beliefs from an eclectic range of sources. Judd collaborated with local practitioners to produce jewellery, furniture, clothes and an architectural model which acted as artefacts of the movement, designed for ceremony and enlightenment. The promotional video for I Will Heal You was constructed through Judd’s contact with a witch, a parapsychologist, fundamentalist Christians, and the sole member of a new religion. A performance took place in which Judd embodied a member of the movement, which included reading from its manifesto.
